I had to get a new PLUS box to pickup my locals (Hartford CT)

had an old RCA -- decide to jump to a Sony A65 w/Digital Dolby/Optical. Had the serial , and Caller ID which is nice and not nice.

anyway back to the thread topic...

I can't believe the difference is picture quality .. the Sony seems softer, and has much more color. I running it into a Sony XBR 32" nothing else changed. It truely is better. Has anyone ever done a A/B test on picture quality between manufacturers?
