I have 13.6 Gb A and 80 Gb B dual drive TiVO.

1. I was using Mfstool 2.0 for the upgrade. I followed instruction on page 18 of HOW TO, Upgrade Configuration #6: I had successfully copied everything from dual drive to a single 120Gb WD drive, down converted system works perfectly, but
2. All attempt to made a small backup image for future use had been failed so far. The backup image went into reboot loop.

Why?

(my TiVo was upgraded from PTV-100 first, then modified to digital vcr)

Because whatever they did to make it a "digtal VCR" ****ed up your Tivo.

Hi,

I even tried to make a backup image from this new working single A drive, but I still got reboot loop. Why?
