How about a "CANCEL" or "ESCAPE" ability.

Came to me last night when I accidentally hit the wrong item in a menu (List all Wishlist programs) and got the "Please wait..." icon.

Why not be able to cancel out of long, non-destructive actions such as that one.

Or at least tell me it will take a long time, do I want to anyway?
