How do I view these special showings? like the Mike Meyers video. I went to Showcase but i didnt see that. And what is this yellow star ive heard about? can anyone help out? thanks!

there should be an extra line on your TiVo central screen with a yellow star on it that says something like "Mike Miyers in Austin Powers: Goldmember!" or the like.

just select that, and the promotional stuff will be there.

Tivo Central? where? under the Messages & Setup line? Ive never had anything show up like that. whenever i hear people talk about a video that received through Tivo i never have it. ANyone know whats wrong?

i just talked to Tivo and they said not every customer receives the special content. is this true? its just weird that ive had Tivo for 3 months and never recieved any.

mcgraw, your cable company may preempt the "Teleworld Paid Programming" broadcast on Discovery with their own line of infomercials.
You should be able to setup a manual recording of TPP and see if it's some other infomercial. If it is, you can see about complaining to your cable provider.

actually i have direcTV. I am clueless about "Teleworld Paid Programming". this is something on the Discovery channel? Is this explained in the manual anywhere?

*S* i feel left in the dark on this. Does this "Teleworld Paid Programming" have anything to do with the special programming from Tivo, like the Mike meyers interview? Since i have DirecTV, does this "Teleworld Paid Programming" still apply to me or is this a cable thing?
