My Sony SVR 2000 died, the result of frequent freezes and now an inability to boot. During the boot process, the A drive gets stuck in successive head seeks, timing out after seven tries. This unit is at rev 3.0. I tried to reinstall my original mothballed Tivo drive, but was unsuccessful. I have a new drive and would like to try to install it as Drive A with rev 2.5xx software. Can anyone help me by providing an image and brief instructions ( steps to go through ). Thanks for your help...
