i have a sony svr-2000 which had a dead hardrive. i downloaded the svr2000.bak image and restored it to a 60gb maxtor drive. i tested it in the tivo and it worked fine except it shows as a 30gb drive (32 hrs). so i used the tivomad script but nothing changed. what do i do now? i would like to use either ther boot cd or dtivomad cd since i am having problems using mfs tools v2. i used the boot cd to do the image backup. thanks

If your Sony has the new "secure" PROM, that would explain why TiVoMad expansion would not work. You need to expand it on a non-secure TiVo, or use mfstool 2.
