I'm going to add an 80GB Maxtor HD to my DTiVo next week. I have a single drive DTiVo, so I'll just keep that as my A drive and use the 80GB drive as the B drive.

I've been reading about some problems with the MFS Tools 2.0 in these fora....so I guess the best thing would be to use the old version. Right?

My other question is about the drive I purchase; it is the Maxtor 5400 80GB model # D540X 4K080H4. Can anyone give me a little advanced knowledge about the jumper settings on this model? I'm going to check the Maxtor website, but I've read that what is in the user manual isn't always correct. Anyone out there with experience with this model?
