Interesting, right in my own back yard. Most people wouldn't think of us as having something like that, but ACH is one of the foremost children's hospitals in the country.

It was good, but I kept thinking - come on, they have a doctor that good in a hospital in Arkansas? :D

I kind of feel sad for the main doctor's wife though - she gave up first her career, and then the possibility of having children to be with this self-centered, egotistical doctor. ("His calling is so much higher than mine...")

I guess it works for her, but I can't help but wonder if someday she is going to regret this decision. I'm not dissing the doctor, by the way, I'd love for him to be my kids doc if I ever needed a cardiac specialist, and egocentric is part of the surgery game. It just seems sad to me, the way they portrayed it, that his wife seems to have nothing for herself.

I've been to ACH. My sister was there when she was 10 or so, when we found out (the hard way) that she is diabetic.

I really liked the show, definitely an emotional hour.

I felt the same way about the doctors wife. Giving up alot so that your husband can never be around while helping other people. Quite a life those two lead.

I could never work their though, since I can 't do triathalons.......

Yeah, what is it with all the doctors being triatheletes? I couldn't even run through the hospital! LOL
