Can't boot from turbonet CD

HELP!

I have downloaded and burned the ISo image for bootable CD from the turbonet (cardnic_cd_20020728.iso). The computer tries to boot but dies with the error Failed to get sector size, assuming 0800, Disk error 01, drive 9f.

I have tried other machines with the same luck, and have redownloaded and re-burned the cd many times. I have been able to get my laptop to boot from it, but I can't use the laptop for my upgrades. What am I doing wrong?

Just an update: I flashed the MOBO with the latest BIOS, problem solved.
