"Trapped in the sky" wasn't too bad. I'll have to watch it a half-dozen more times to enjoy the cheeziness of the show.

Looks like Thunderbirds is plagued by the typical TechTV lame program info though. While a couple episodes showed up in the DirecTiVo guide by their episode name, most just say "Thunderbirds". So you're stuck fumbling through them to see which episode is which.

With TechTV's demographics overlapping TiVo owners by a large margin, you'd think they'd care and get this fixed. Many TechTV shows I've just given up on since recording them meant most of the recordings were repeats of what you'd already watched.

What Idearat said! I've got a manual and a wishlist to make sure I get all the episodes. Until the day of the first episode, my TiVo proclaimed in the guide that I was all set to record multiple episodes of Tomorrow's World and Max Headroom.

But as much as I've been looking forward to this series, I won't let it get me down.

I thought at first that the "Trivia Subtitles" would ruin the series, like a can of spray paint would ruin the Mona Lisa. But before the end of the first episode, I actually grew to like the "Trivia Subtitles" and enjoyed the information they contained. After the first episode, I felt a little silly for allowing my sense of nostalgia to raise Thunderbirds to the level of high art, unworthy of having cheese trivia plastered all over it. I'm over it now.

And that lunchbox looks really cool!
