Well, Cathy Rogers isn't going to be on Junkyard Wars anymore (season starts late Aug (Aug 28?)).
I dunno, but Cathy was one of the reasons to watch Junkyard Wars... anyone know what show she's on now?

hmm I thought she was the producer/creator of Junkyard Wars?

Apparently, she's grown as bored with the show as many of us viewers have. She left out that she's saying the same things to team after team as they do the same things over and over ;)
I found this.

"Ashleah-How do you feel about not hosting Junkyard Wars anymore? Is it because of Full Metal Challenge?
Cathy-Yes it is, and I feel good about it. I think I have done my time surrounded by rusting metal, and after a while you start to worry that you are saying the same things to team after team and the days start to blur into one - that's when I think it is time to move on to something new, and in this case, bigger and more colourful."

Never a good sign when the producer admits that there is absolutely nowhere else the show can go. Probably should just zap the SP now, watching another series will just be painful.
Unless its the Brits. If Robert sticks around, you never know.

I really liked Junkyard Wars when I first discovered it, but I have become bored with it. It seems to me like they could easily mix things up a bit to give some new life to the show. For example, have more teams battling it out and eliminate a team each week. With more teams, it would make the show a bit faster paced. Have the actual competitions be larger in scale. It's so low budget looking sometimes. Just ideas, but they need to switch up the format a bit to keep it fresh.
Of course, with Cathy gone, the show is probably doomed to extinction.

When will Full Metal Challenge appear on the Tube? I looked at the web site and if it is there, I just flat out missed it....
