I'm a certified Buffyholic, but it still took me a few seconds to figure out what you meant. I guess because I also like the NFL, although not nearly as much as Buffy.

It took me a second as well, but I recall at least one episode in which Angels vamp face was referred to as his fighting "game face". It might have been used other times but I'm not so buffyholic as to know how many (I can't even remember all the details of the one scene I can recall, though I'm sure it'll come to me later).

Edit: Though I still don't know how often that phrase was used in the show, a google search shows Buffy discussions and storyline summaries use it all the time to describe a vamps non-human visage.

Along the same lines, I was wondering why vampires would need weight watchers when someone asked "how many points for a pint of blood?"

(And to explain, Weight Watchers allows you to eat a set number of "points" every day, and this person wanted to know how many points to eat to compensate for the loss from donating blood)
