Just a note to say thanks to everyone who has contributed to the FAQs, how to's and utilities for Tivo hacks. I am the proud owner of a 120Gb Tivo (original 30Gb + new 80Gb), with a turbonet card, FTP, Telnet, Tivoweb, and version 3.0 software.

This was a unit with a dead modem thanks to a thunderstorm that had version 2.5 of the software and hadn't been used in 5 months. I brought up the Turbonet first, let it update to 3.0, then added the 2nd drive.

My Tivo rocks!, I can make programming changes from my laptop when I'm on the road, there's tons of space (for my needs) and I have backups in case something goes wrong. This is the way Tivo should have been done from day one.
