I just noticed a wishlist picked up a "Call for Help" episode on TechTv showing Monday. ( a minor miracle considering how accurate their episode data is). One segment of the show is supposed to be "Turning your PC into a TiVo".

I'm watching as I type this. They just showed how to use a Tv-tuner card to record TV and get TV listings and that you can burn the recordings onto a DVD or VCD. I still don't think they understand the purpose of TiVo and why it isn't any good on a PC....

Yep, it was weak and nothing new. I should have expected something like this because "call for Help" is oriented towards the beginner computer user.

I was hoping they would cover some of the external boxes from Hauppage or Creative labs that have an Mpeg encoder in them. The ATI cards are old news.
