My Sony SVR 2000 is frozen at the "almost there...just a few more seconds" screen. I have pulled the hard drive and ran diagnostics on it and the drive seems fine, structurally.
I have inspected the motherboard and see no damage or sign of burn.
If I reformat the drive and load the tivo software again could that fix the problem?
If so, where do I get the image or back up software to re-load?
I tried to back up the drive and re-install the data on the same drive but it did not help.

Help!
