hey guys. i just had a few questions.

1) is 25xtreme only for the phillips6000? is there seperate images for each DTivo receiver?

2) whats the serial cable for? i thought all you had to do is make your CD drive the primary and Hard Drive the slave.. then boot from the CD and that was it?

I am currently using the Hu card but havent decided what DTivo receiver is best to go w/.

There's really absolutely no reason to be using xtreme. There are legitimate images floating around out there for every make/model of TiVo is you're hard drive has gone bad. If you're using xtreme, you're not likely to find help here.
