I just attempted to restore my original "tivo.bak" (from hinsdale's instructions) to my Phillips HDR212 and it gets most of the way through and fails claiming that there was a compression error.

Not sure if it is my image or not but would rather not spend the next several hours troubleshooting...can anyone help me out with a known-good image to try again with??

OK..nevermind. It looks like I was premature. I read a few other posts that led me to believe that the restore might have actually worked even though it claims it didn't.

So, I plugged in the drive and it appears to have restored just fine.
