Hi folks,

Tried to upgrade to a Maxtor 120GB last night and the upgrade worked ok but didn't copy all the data over due to a confirmed fault with the old drive. I am going to borrow my Fathers TiVo tonight so want to start the process all over again. Can I just run the HD upgrade again or should I reformat the drive to make it "virginal" again?

Can I do a Windows format or do a low level format with the Maxtor PowerMax Diagnostic program?

I don't think you need to do anything, the upgrading utility will blank the disk.
