does anybody know when Dragonball and Dragonball Z will start airing new episodes? It seems like it's been awhile since we saw new eps of either show.

DBZ I right at the end of the Frieza saga now. So, after that there's more of the future Trunks, Androids, and Cell Saga.

Also, the last of the Buu episodes still aren't out of post-production for dubbing at Funimation.

So as a guess...look for them January.

For DB, I don't know.

I was thinking the same thing a couple of days ago so I went to www.animenewsnetwork.com .

Today while watching DBZ, there was a Toonami promo for the "new" episodes of the Buu saga...starts Sept. 16. They'll probably run it up to US episode #253 "Union of Rivals", or another 31 eps.

I've seen the plot summary for the Buu saga. So far, we've seen about, what, 40 episodes in the U.S? That appears to be only one-fourth of the way through. It's loooooooooong. I don't think I'll have the patience to see it through.

This reminds me of E.E. "Doc" Smith's Lensmen saga, which escalated from fighting smugglers to a clash of two universes. Just when you think they can't increase the stakes any further...

Yup. Everyone goes up at least 2 "transofrmations" and seems to visit "another dimension" at least once, plus let's now add some fusions (at least 3 kinds). Oh, and people who were good, turn evil, then back to good, and then die...or something.

But after Buu, no more DBZ. It becomes DBGT, unless you count the movies (of which the US has only seen 4 out of 12 I think).

I've never liked the movies. They're set in an alternate reality and don't even keep continuity among themselves.

Just a reminder. New episodes of Dargonball Z start tomorrow!

Seen 'em.

(thank you Kazaa Lite!) ;P
