i've a backup of sony sat-t60 disk img in CD how restore my tivo from the cd? and wich software can use for it?

Download and install MFS Tools 2.0, this will involve burning a CD or using the included utility to prepare a boot floppy.

Copy your TiVo image to your hard drive as C:\tivo.bak

Connect the drive you want to become your new TiVo A drive as Secondary Master

Boot MFS Tools 2.0

Type:

mount /dev/hda1 /mnt
mfsrestore -s 127 -xpi /mnt/tivo.bak /dev/hdc
umount /mnt

Place drive in TiVo and boot.
