I thought I read that someone had a way to automatically re-enable the 30 second skip at reboots, but I can't find the thread.

Did I dream this or is there really a way to do this?

And if so, how do I do it?

IIRC there is a hack to automatically enable backdoors, but I don't recall a hack to enable SPS30S.

I'm not aware of any way to automatically re-enable SPS30S when the tivo reboots (which is pretty seldom anyway - left to their own devices, they'd reboot about once evey three months).

The automatic backdoor thing is dead for 3.0 as far as I know (it involved an environment variable that isn't used anymore). On the other hand, if you have a tivo/turbonet, backdoors are always on. PV
