Tried to put MFS tools and open up my Tivo to Telnet last night. I put the boot disk in and my 1st hard drive into my PC. It wouldn't boot up so I said F|_|ck it and put my Tivo back together. Turned on Tivo and the TV and a nice green screen awaited me! It said "A serious error occured. Please hook up the phone line and do not turn off you Tivo for 3 hours." The good news is this morning my Tivo is working fine. I'll try the hack again tonight. This time w/ both hard drives hooked up.

You were very lucky. TiVo drives form 'married' pairs and can not be treated individually. Fortunately for you mfsfix has repaired what ever damage you caused. Read the intructions more carefully next time.

I suggest the first thing you do tonight is take an MFS Tools backup to insure against future problems.
