SVR-2000 Receiving (Power) & Recording light - both red = dead hard drive

I had a Sony SVR-2000 with an upgraded 120 GB maxtor drive. Couple of days back the recording light and the receiving lights were both red - no picture on tv. Called Sony support - waste of time. But in the original drive and it booted up just fine.
Just wanted to post to let everyone know that when both of these lights are red you may have a failing hard drive. Sony support did not seem to know this!!!
