How to Verify Drive Sizes: New Hinsdale Step 7

Exactly what should the readout say when I boot with the floppy and it reports drives sizes?
I have a Hughes Directivo with a Quantum 40G drive and purchased a maxtor 80G 5400 rpm drive.
I configured the drives with the IDE cables/drive layout that is suggested in the New Hinsdale upgrade guide.
The readout does recognize each drive hda, hdb, hdc and CD Rom is hdd but it does not specify an exact # of GB - only that hdb, for example, is a Maxtor 4D080H4.
Is this okay and should I continue with the upgrade?

As long as the BIOS sees the drives as the right size, Linux will too. If you BIOS doesn't see the drives as the right size, Linux may be able to figure it out itself.
I would think it's OK. As long as you're going to use the 80Gb drive as an A drive and you're leaving your original A drive untouched, even if it goes wrong you can try again.
You can use dmesg | more to review the boot log, perhaps you missed the drive sizes?

Thanks, dmesg | more shows the whole message. At the end it showed the correct sizes. The mfsbackup and mfsrestore ran fine.
