Season premiers for syndicated shows?

I've seen lots of web sites that showcase season premiers for network television (ABC, CBS, etc), but for some reason I have not been able to find anything for syndicated shows.

Why are the online guides so pre-occupied with network shows? Why can't they provide all the data? I get the feeling that the guides are being paid by the networks to showcase their programs.

Mutantx.net says their season premieres the week of September 30. I think Andromeda started offset a week from MutantX last year, but I couldn't confirm a premiere date on andromedatv.com.

Maybe because they are SYNDICATED and hence, the air dates vary depending on what local channel is broadcasting it?

I know that here in Chicago, WGN is ALWAYS a week or 2 (or more) behind most of the rest of the country in showing new episodes of "Mutant X", "Andromeda", "The Lost World" and other syndicated series.

Actually, last year I found a listing with all syndicated shows on it, and the premier dates were all "week of" type things.
