CBS Sunday Morning had a theme of 'The New Season'.

They covered TV, movie, the art scene, etc.

Best segment was the 'new toys' section where, after showing off a bunch of big plasma screens, the reporter whipped out his Sony TiVo SA remote and gave us a peek at his Now Playing List, with a detail screen for -- what else? -- CBS Sunday Morning. :D

I especially liked the big segment on Latinos on TV where they interviewed Raquel Welsh (Tejada) about how she had to 'pass' earlier in her career, and how she's happy now to finally play a well-rounded character on her new show.

Good stuff -- nice to see someone talk about TiVo who clearly knows how to use one, even if the mention was really, really short.

Blockbuster is also offering a free DVD that previews the new season, with a heavy emphasis on the two CSI shows.

I think CBS Sunday Morning is one of the best shows on television and have it on a Season Ticket, so it was a little weird yesterday when I watched a Tivoed program about DVRs, featuring Tivo (and to a lesser degree Replay), with a segment demonstrating a Tivoed Now Playing list and a stored program. Sort of zen-like, I thought, watching Tivo show a program about Tivo showing a Tivoed program!!! It reminded me of standing between two mirrors and seeing the reflections into infinity.
