Twilight Zone on UPN

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

my cable system doesnt carry UPN, so i, HUGE TZ fan, am gonna end up missing this new series. but i at least hope it's good enough that those that can get enjoyment out of it...

I loved the original TZ as well, but I have a gut feeling that it won't make the year. Its on Wednesday nights at 9:00 which is just about THE most stacked slot in television.

It has to go up against The West Wing, Birds of Prey and Fastlane, among others.

another reason (imo of course ;)) i think it may not survive is because peopke are understandabley going to compar e it w/the original, i
& it's gotta be pretty hard to come close to that....

I'm going to compare it to the TZ from the mid-'80s.

Most popular Twilight Zone quote ever:

"There's a MAN on the wing!"

Pan Chung, then maybe you'll like it. ;)

jchan, my fave 1-liner is, "It's a cookbook!!"

It's a free timeslot for me. I am going to give it a shot, but I didn't like the 80s version so we'll see... The 80s version just seemed too predictable - I saw the endings coming a mile away, unlike the original.

I thought the most popular quote was "It's a cookbook!"

With TZ up against West Wing, this is a prime use of standby mode with a vcr. At least until someone spots an early feed of TZ on the big dish....

I'm gonna definatly check it out. Heads up for folks who subscribe to the supers on Dish, WSBK looks far better the WWOR, presently. I'll be recording off WSBK.

"Where is everybody!"

The Fox station that has been showing Enterprise had it on their schedule following Enterprise, but instead it was Boffy. I'm giving it another try this weekend; it's still listed on-line.

It also comes in like crap on antenna, and TiVo has a very hard time recording it even at Best. I have to pull it in with an external tuner and feed it into the composite input in order to also record cable (The Daily Show).

What was up w/TZ last wk?! (We just got it last nite.)

The 1st one made NO sense that I could see. TZ wasn't supposed to just intro something that made no sense and say "it makes sense... In the TZ..." !!!

The 2nd one was pretty good. At 1st, I thought it was gonna be uber-predictable, but then it twisted and suprised me. Good show. :)

Anyone watch w/their closed captions on? Drives me nuts that the captions are always SO different from what he says in the intro and outro!
