Starz! will have a free preview weekend Oct 4-Oct 6 hosted by...Sinbad!

This Multichannel news story gives The Mummy Returns and Rush Hour 2 as 2 examples of movies to be shown.

Ugh, I like Starz!, but Sinbad and Rush Hour 2 are the best they could do for a free preview weekend? They're attracting new subscribers how?

Well, Rush Hour 2 was pretty good. But I'll agree with you 100% on Sinbad.

Funny side note--a local casino is heavily advertising that Carrot Top will be appearing "For one night only! Get your tickets now to here his comedic genius!" And then they don't play any clips of him in the commerical. I'm sure there is plenty of funny Carrot Top clips they could have used, right? :)

Quick side note about Carrot Top. A couple of years ago the college I went to had booked Carrot Top but wound up having to cancel the show because of a complete lack of interest, they sold almost no tickets.
