Smallville on ABC?

Please tell me this is true and it will be happening all season. I don't get WB anymore and I was going through my SP list and deleting old stuff. Just for the heck of it I looked to see if there were any upcoming episodes of Smallville, and sure enough there was. It was at a really weird time (12:06am) and listed on ABC. I think the date was 9/25. The episode is the season opener Vortex.
Anyone know what is up?

If you don't have a local WB affiliate, that network is free to offer their individual programs to any station in your market as syndicated fare (I have no WB in my market, but the FOX channel carries their shows at sometimes ODD hours).

WooHoo!!! :D I just went to the website of the ABC station and they have a WB on ABC Latenight. This means they show all the WB shows time-shifted a few hours late. Not only will I get the shows, they will be hours later to reduce conflicts. This is awesome!

It would be nice if the nets (and netlets) would recognize that a later showing is "okay" in the age of the DVR...'cause it still allows the program to get to the viewer.

Yeah I wish more shows would do this. It is nice to see some shows, Everwood, Smallville, and Enterprise offering a chance to see it if you miss the first airing. I wish they did that more often. I know they would find me watching more.

I'd love to get the WB shows on another channel. Our WB affiliate has a nasty vertical stripe of a lighter color on the right side of the screen and some light ghosting. I'm better off getting the SVCDs or VCDs quality-wise.
