Would it be easy to add an output line for searches, where it would list your search terms and the count of matches per term and the result counts. Like this:

You search for the term: channel AND memory AND pool

And it prints something like:

channel: found 17456 matches
memory: found 9534 matches
AND 4543 matches for channel and memory
pool: found 3024 matches
AND 523 matches for pool in (channel and memory)

The output for the above is mostly annotated, it could be as simple as:

channel: 17456
memory: 9534
pool: 3024

and then the list the 523 threads that matched?

In the search above it might come back as:

channel: 0
memory: 9534
pool: 3024

And this output might tell you that channel might not be a term that is kept track of in the database and thus adds nothing to the search.

The only reason I ask is that sometimes it's hard to tell what words in a search pattern aren't in the database and thus contribute nothing to the search.
