Looks like "This Old House" is called "The New This Old House Hour"
I noticed this in the Tivolution Mag.

An hour "This Old House" might be good if done right, however, another show on how to paint and lay a new roof would be a bit much for me.

Also, the new project is in Winchester, MA and I'll be moving to that very town next month. Gotta find that house!

I don't know if the name of the show has changed. It's supposed to be the usual format for the first half hour, then a half hour of a new series called "Ask This Old House,"

Wow, glad I checked this. I doubt my SPs for TOH and TOH Classics would have caught the change....

I am a bit confused, though.....I checked the airings for MA at the following site:

The results I get state the following:

PBS - WGBH
HOUR: Saturday, 5:00 pm
TOH: Monday, 7:30 pm

PBS - Select 44
HOUR: Thursday, 8:00 pm

I understand that "HOUR" must be the airings for the new full hour show, house and ask the experts portions. Does "TOH" mean a reairing of just the house portion, or would that be airings of the older TOH seasons???

Anyone?

I like the scheduling in MA. I can pick up the full hour program on Saturday's at a time that I wouldn't have any prime time conflicts........

I guess I should convert to a "This Old House" AR/WL.....

Well, set up an SP last night. It looks like my thoughts were right.....TOH is just the airing of the first half, while HOUR is the first half plus questions segment.....

Here in Minneapolis/St.Paul TNTOHH was called "This Old House" this week, but is was a new one hour episode. I thought I would be safe since I have season passes to both TOH and TNTOHH. But, it did not record and no reason for the failure shows up in "Recording History". TiVo must think it is a rerun, but no "original aired date" shows up in the description.

The lesson is that this is yet another progam you need to monitor closely or set up a manual recording for.

According to the guide, the name changes back to TNTOHH next week.

I have an auto-recording wishlist for "This Old House" which picks up all the various episodes. We have stations running both the HOUR and the TOH half hours and Ask TOH half hours, all at different times.

I'd suggest making an SP to catch the flavor of show you prefer most, then add an AR WL farther down in the priority to catch the shows that the SP misses.
