Still Standing

This show is funny. Why does this guy remind me of Fred Flintstone?

I liked this show as well. I even watched the pilot twice. Something I would never consider doing for any sitcom before.

For some reason it just clicked with me :)

"Down in front!" :D

I really expected this show to such mightily, but I really enjoyed it. Much better written than I had anticipated.

It was the best watched new comedy on all networks so far (NBC had that claim with Miami until this show aired).

I was shocked at how funny I found this show. I was watching MNF with a friend and we just happenned to flip over to live tv to check this one out. Figured I could watch about 5 minutes and then stop. Nope, too funny, had to watch the whole thing. I've never even been a big fan of Raymond or King of Queens (which this is definitely modeled after), and I still laughed. A lot.

Thumbs Up!

And Jami Gertz is looking pretty fine these days too...

Yup, this one's a hit. I actually laughed out loud (not a common occurrence with many new shows these days). My wife, on the other hand, was practically ROTFL. I think she identified just a bit too much with the wife character. :) Probably her favorite new show of the season, by far.

The best scene, IMHO, was where they sat down at the table with the oldest daughter and kept interrupting her with "NO!!". Hysterical.

And for some reason, "nevertouchaboobietribe" made us both laugh every time, as well.

This show was a very pleasant surprise for me also. I hope they are able to sustain the good writing.

I was biased toward it because I LOVE Jami Gertz!! I was not disappointed. I really really enjoyed it. Even laughted out-loud a couple of times! *gasp!*

Greatest line (totally didn't expect it!), which reminded me of me after she said it:
Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
NO!! You're right! This IS fun!

A definite

I flipped between it and MNF last week and ended up watching more of it instead of MNF. Enough of that...set up a SP for it.

Very, very funny. What my wife and I especially liked is how they portray the couple. They are weird and funny but they are also very much in love with each other and want to be good parents. That's not very common in TV shows today, IMO.

This one is a keeper.
