What is a fair price for a 160 HOUR HDR312 /w Lifetime

Well, I broke down today and ordered a several HDVR2's and DirectTV as a result I will no longer have a need for my current upgraded HDR312 and I am wondering what I should ask for it.

I recently added a WD120GB B drive using the 9th Tee bracket and it has the lifetime service already.

It reports 160hours of basic recording time, and I think 80 good.

Any ideas?

Why don't you take a peek over on Ebay and see what the going rate is?

I did but unfortuatley it varried quite a bit (by several 100) so I thought this would be a reasonable place to look for opinions.

Without knowing the going rate and owning two upgraded 14 hour units myself, I'd say around $450 is a good price, but knowing ebay you might be able to get a lot more.

Try eBay again, and search for auctions that are completed - they tend to be much more tightly packed in terms of price. Open auctions get bid up at the end, so the open auctions are somewhat misleading.

I'd say $50 would be reasonable. In fact, being the generous guy I am, I'll give you $75 right now for it.

Hmm, at that price I would have just baught more SA's instead of doing to directtv :)

I just sold one of my SA's on eBay. 108 hr Series 1 with lifetime; it went for $470 + shipping. I was hoping for a bit over $500, so the buyer did get a decent deal.

Well I placed it on ebay yestrday for a 550 +sh reserve/buy-it now and it sold within 8 hours. Maybe I should have asked for more :)
