FX ran The Shield late

I didn't discover The Shield until after its run was over, but I was very excited to learn they were running a marathon of all 13 episodes over 13 nights. It started two weeks ago, and the season finale was aired last night. Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch the whole finale because FX started it late! Their movie (Heat) ran 20 minutes over time, and The Shield didn't start until around 11:20.. so of course, my Tivo didn't get the whole thing.

What is the deal with FX? They don't seem to care about their schedule at all.. they cancel Buffy on a whim, they apparently run a MASH marathon every other week, and they don't even bother to check how long their Saturday night movie is. Now I have to wait for the next Shield marathon to find out how the finale ends.

You can probably blame the baseball playoffs on this one, the game was on FX (at least in most markets) and ran late, which is why you missed the episode's ending.

rhobite, I'm in the same boat you are! :( Comcast recently added FX, so I put the Shield into my wish list. I lucked out and the next day, the marathon ran.

Man, I got so hooked on that show so fast! And now I missed the last freakin' 20 minutes!!! I'm gonna post a request on the forum for a synopsis of the last episode.
