Can TiVo Save Farscape?

I'll start off by giving you the URL to the article I'm going to speak about :

I'm sure you're all familiar with the Save Farscape campaign, and how terrible it is that this masterpiece of a show has been cancelled. As a big fan, I've been doing my part to try to help save farscape, but after reading this article, I've learned there's something all TiVo users can do and actually make a difference: WATCH FARSCAPE! Set season passes for it. According to the article, TiVo actually collects data on what shows are being watched/recorded. I know we don't have Neilson boxes here, but I think we may have something to show when Farscape returns in January. All TiVo users: watch Farscape. We can ask TiVo for the numbers and we'll have something else to add to our arsenal. People ARE watching Farscape! DON'T cancel it! Is anyone else with me?

Hmmm...but in order to show my support for Farscape by adding a Season Pass, I'll first have to delete my Season Pass to Farscape.
I don't suppose there's a way to get it onto the second tuner...
Too bad DirecTiVo doesn't have 3.0 yet...I could set my Season Pass to Record All! Or are the TiVo marketing folks too clever to fall for the old stuffing the ballot box trick?

I don't think you can make a new SP for it if you don't have one, as there are no episodes showing currently.

Those sets likely won't be allowed to take up space until January. They either need to reconsider soon, commit to a movie, or sell the rights to someone else.

Kinda hard to get a Season Pass now, when it is not listed in the guide data anywhere.
Does TiVo just count Season Passes, or would it not be more significant how many people actually recorded and watched Farscape?
Sci Fi Channel sucks. They keep "disappearing" Farscape for up to six months every year, and then wonder why they aren't getting higher ratings.

The sets are already down, but they took pictures and have the blueprints. We're hoping to at least get it on another network.
I've been doing some research, and I'm not sure if ALL tivo's collect the data on season passes. The data does show that they recorded, AND watched it, but i've heard that they might only be collecting data from the hotline2hollywood subscribers, which rules out directivo's immediately. Does anyone know anything more about this topic?

I have a Farscape sp, 2 of them in fact. I'll watch the remaining shows in January, then remove SciFi from channels that I receive. The SciFi channel has been such a major disappointment, it should swim with the fish's!

Sci Fi has definitely done nothing positive for Farscape. It would be a blessing in disguise if the cancellation resulted in Farscape moving to another network, especially a broadcast network like UPN or WB. Farscape has been a gem, lost in the obscurity of Sci Fi's horrible scheduling and hidden agendas.

The Sci Fi Channel will rot in hell for cancelling Farscape. They lost all credibility in my book. I'll watch the last 11 Farscape episodes then it's bye bye Sci Fi.
