2.5 backup, upgrade, modem fail, what if my drive fails?

Here is my scenario . . .
I backed up my A drive quite some time ago (I think it was version 2.5 or so). After the backup I added an 80gig B drive and it has worked great ever since. I now have version 3.whatever of the TiVo software. My modem failed recently and I am using TIVONET to do my daily downloads. I am wondering what will happen if my drive were to ever fail and I had to restore from my old backup which has no support for TIVONET?
Is there a way that I can backup my current setup (2 drives with version 3.0)? If so, is there a way that I can back up the system info only, so that it will fit on a CD-ROM like I did the first time?

Thanks,
Vic

Absolutely - you can backup the important stuff only off the two-drive setup very easily with MFSTools 2.0. See the thread at the top for the link to Hinsdale's page - if you've done a backup before with an older version, this is similar, but easier.
