Can't remember the specifics - I'll update the thread when I get home.
I've had an auto-record wishlist since I got TiVo. It's coming on next week. Since it's a G-rated movie, shouldn't have to worry about content cuts and we can just skip commercials, right?
edit: updated subject to reflect programming info

Get the 20th Anniversary DVD...the sound was remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1 and it's a widescreen presentation.
:)

More importantly, I believe the *video* was remastered.

Excellent DVD.... and yes the video was cleaned up and the sound updated.
Cheesy in spots... but hey, It is still a good film.

Actually, it's PG, although I'm not sure exactly what requires parental guidance in it. Adult themes and computer-generated violence, maybe. It's also 96 minutes, so assuming they're putting it in a 2-hour slot, it'll most likely be shown with time compression (slightly sped up).
Plus, its original aspect ratio was 2.20:1, and I think it does lose something in pan-and-scan.
(None of this applies if the "T" where it's showing is Turner Classic Movies, although I'd be very surprised to see a Disney film show up there.)

It's on TNT. And it's PG for "(V)iolence", that's all.
Being on TNT, expect ad borders on the bottom, along with lots of cuts, and probably time compressed as well.
Get the DVD instead.

Thanks to everyone for filling in my blanks.
I thought TNN was the network with the bottom banner - does TNT have them too? Too bad - I won't record/watch it if TNT has them, too.

TNT doesn't do the borders, but it DOES superimpose really BIG, ANNOYING promo bugs (distractingly animated, too).
