Airnet will not work after install!!!!

I just purchased an airnet card from 9th and am using it in a Dtivo version 2.5. I have a Linksys AP with a Linksys V3 card. I went through the entire airnet installation site and performed every step to perfection. I flashed the prom, I installed the nic_install software, and checked every setting on my AP. SSID = linksys, encryption = none on both, transfer setting is set to optimal, subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, IP address is 192.168.1.200.

I performed the setup on 2 seperate systems and I get the same result on both, no ping, no telnet, no ftp. I am beginning to think that the airnet card is junk. Is there a way to check it out and see if it is working? Any diagnostics? Do I have to be running OS 2.5.2? Are the Linksys cards compatible (and yes it has all firmware updates performed and works in my HP laptop).

I need some ideas here and appreciate any help and suggestions. The install guide is very basic and it looks like a plug and go kind of thing. Unfortunately it is not and there is not ample data out there to give help on this. I apprecaite any help, suggestions, basically anything.

Hi,

Try running nic_install and choosing the option to dump the log file.

Then try the 'full' debug level, boot the tivo, try pinging it, and then dump the logs again.
