Hi everyone,

I would be interested in purchasing an AT&T TIVO2 unit. I have seen a couple of web-sites that sell them, but they only advertise selling "pre-modded" ones; e.g. $599 for 100+ hours....things like that.

Does anyone know of any online place that sells just the plain "non-modded" versions? (Other than the Tivo store).

AFAIK, the only official distributor of the AT&T model is the TiVo/AT&T Web page. As you say, there are also outfits that sell them with upgraded hard disks. You may be able to pick up a used one on eBay or the like, too.
