Does Sony make an HD satellite receiver? I was talking to a retailer that told me that he sells them and that Sony is now shipping a new model. My problem is that I can't find a reference to a HD satellite receiver anywhere, even on the Sony Web site. Am I missing something or is it that this guy is mistaken?

yer they have had one out for quite some time.

Thank you, I wonder why a search on the Sony site for this receiver had no results.

Anyway, I wonder if it's the right receiver for me. I'm getting the Mits 65909 HDTV and Mits has firewire, not DVI. maybe I should consider another model?

Circuit City already sells this new model.

Try the AVS Forum for HDTV hardware. There are plenty of reviews of the new Sony and other models. The folks there can answer all your questions.
