That blasted ribbon cable....

I recently upgraded my 2 SAT-T60's to add an 80GB B drive in each. On my first upgrade, I thought I'd really screwed something up. It booted up and did got past "Almost there..." and then started gathering information from the satellites. Then it would go into stand-by and I couldn't get it to power back on.
I got that sick feeling in my stomach that I'd screwed it up somehow. Checked the drives, the IDE cable, the jumpers... Every time the same thing... Then I happened to sit the unit down on the work table from a different angle and I saw it. The blasted ribbon cable for the front panel was pulled out! I believe the drive power cables must have been under it and I must have pulled it out when I removed the bay without realizing it. Of course, without it plugged in, the power button and the remote didn't work...
Anyway, plugged it back in and all is well. I didn't see this in the FAQs I read or the MFS tools documentation, so I wonder if this should be added as a "watch out for this?"
Anyway, happy with my two 105 hour boxes now!
