why no program data storing?

I have my recorder connecting to Tivo through my cable modem. Over teh last week or so, the unit is sucessfully connecting like it is supposed to but it isn't storing any of the program data. Any thoughts as to why?

Do you have a LinkSys router? If so try rebooting it. I had this problem some time ago. Guided setup would get new data and daily calls would appear to work OK but guide data was not properly imported.

None of my other devices had problems with my router and I had no reason to suspect it but I finally reset it out of frustration. Everything has been fine since. Just for good measure, I updated the routers firmware at the time. I don't know if that had anything to do with the problem going away permanently.
