I upgraded my svr2000 with a 120 gig drive. It was done with DD command as I wanted to keep the recordings. I then expanded it to see all of the space. I used it for a few days with the 100 plus hours showing on the system info screen. I then took the drive back out to do backup and got into a lock condition I can not get out of. The lock is a separate issue.
What I need to do is see if I can fix the drive some how to get the new recordings. will any of the programs fix the drive.
When I put it in it goes to the welcome screen and says it is booting up and then resets with a gray screen and starts over again.

Any help. on fixing the drive. I still have the original drive that works. Or is there a program that will fix the boot portion on the drive.

I have another thread opened up for the lock issue....
