Do you watch NASCAR?
Uh No..
Well you know, watching NASCAR racing is like drinking a fine bottle of wine.

I was so thankful for Tivo’s instant replay on The Bachelor last night.

Now I can understand that some people like to watch NECKCAR Racin’ (I don’t understand why they watch it, but I know they do), but to compare it to a fine bottle of wine… That was the best line, and you could just see Aaron get ready to run for the hills.

They really searched for some fine family values for this show.

(My daughter wants to marry a guy she just met on TV, but let’s talk about something important like our other daughter’s soccer match)
(My daughter is already 22 and isn’t married. Well since there are no brothers or cousins available I guess I will tell her to go on TV to marry a stranger)

Wait, let me interrupt here and tell you about this room I have in my house for my collection of University of Alabama junk. Now this is my most prized possession. I would never send any of it to be married off to a stranger on TV.

(Why do you want to marry my daughter… Well she is nice and… Good enough, she is all yours)
(I’m your roommate and best friend, but I will do everything I can to sabotage your chances and ensure I get as much TV air time as possible)

For the record, I watch NASCAR Winston Cup races. I consider my self a fan, especially of the 24 car.

Yes, I admit, I watch the Bachelor. I have been waiting for a show this good since Charles in Charge went off the air so many years ago..

Besides, I a not really making fun of Neck Car Racin', I am making fun of anyone that would compare it to a good bottle of wine..

I used to be too, but he really has diminished in my eyes a lot this year, for a number of reasons.

I have Nascar on but i don't watch it. NASCAR is great for two reasons:

1. I love the sound. I love to run the Winston Cup throug my surround.
2. I don't have to watch it. With the race on I can read the paper, drink a few beers, help around the house with out making anyreal commitment to the TV

People who knock NASCAR don't get it. And there are two types of people in thios world. Those who get it and those who don't, and there is no point in trying to eplain to the ones who don't. :eek: :D

A race at Bristol would be the one an only race I would actually consider travelling to. Small track.. Huge amount of seats. Close to the action at all times.
