Well, at least for us SA TiVo users...;)

Here's this week's lineup (CST):
7:00 - "Friends"
7:40 - "Will & Grace"
8:20 - "Scrubs"

ALL NEW! :mad:

This is going to screw up my setting for CSI @ 8:00!! Damn you, NBC! I thought you liked TiVo!!

You could also refuse to be manipulated this way and choose not to watch when the networks pull this time-shifting crap with the express intention of making you miss another favorite show on another network.

They do, as evidenced by the good guide data for these shows. :D

And TiVo isn't going to screw up CSI for you: you must have given Scrubs higher priority in your SPM than CSI. If you'd rather see CSI, bump it up higher in SPM.

If you'd like to see both, buy another TiVo. ;)

The network is doing it, so that's who I'd call.

I doubt they'll care though. It works. They'll all be doing it soon.

That's what technology is for. With dTivo and a SA, I don't miss much. :)

They did that a long time ago merely by cutting content time and phasing out the show theme song.

I have no problem with them completely ruining the 30 minute, on the hour format, but it's going to kill them in syndication, no?

It's called stealing ratings from another show. I think Neilsen sees how many people watch a show right at the half hour time. If friends goes to 8:40 (EST) then Survivor loses ratings in it's second half hour. Usually a lot of Friends viewers move over to Survivor after that show is done...it's the same reason they run it over 2 minutes. Same goes for CSI, trying to undercut it's hour average. My confusion is why did they swap Will and Grace and Scrubs. Feh on this crap.

That's an interesting point about the syndication rights. I guess they'll probably just edit out a few minutes.

That's funny...Thurs nite is the easiest nite for me.

All I watch is Inside the NFL, and I ususally watch that live (HBO so no coms) ;)
