Who watched it? It was not up to par of previous ones, IMHO.

But...

Family Guy fans need to be on the look out in this episode.

I agree. It was mildly entertaining, but not as clever as past specials.

I really got a kick out of the "cameo", though.

I paused it and went upstairs choking (from laughter) partway through the first episode, and told my brother he had to see it.

It took me about the entire show before my eyes stopped tearing, and I could breathe alright

Shooting the clones

I also liked seeing..

"Original Homer"

It was an OK ep. They could have done a lot more with the

Ok... Who remembers how to get back home ?

I agree that it was not nearly as fully as some past Halloween episodes. But there were some amusing moments:

As well as

the clones
which others have mentioned as being funny, I also had to pause so I could laugh at

"Disco Shrew"
For some reason, I found that hilarious.

I thought it was the worst one yet :(

Smithers as a flamingo was hilarious.

Sad to say, but I agree. I've been a major recent-season Simpsons apologist, but I just can't defend this one. It had a few moments, but it felt wayyy too slapped together.

And another thing: Fox went way beyond the line in 'spoiling' the ep. with its promos this year. They even gave away the end to the 'clones' segment!

I thought it was pretty good, although if they are going to stick with 3 shorts they would do much better with a 60min episode.

I really liked Skinner in Mother's pouch.

I guess I missed any/all the promos that "spoiled" the Homer clones bit. That was really good. :p

Homer: no belly-button... but the plane's in the hanger!

I did enjoy seeing the animal versions of the Simpsons characters. Marge as a cat was pretty sexy ;)

The gun control bit was very lame.

Does anyone still have the episode? I forgot to double-check my SP priorities, and ended up with a rerun of Six Feet Under instead. :(

I loved the line from the one police officer when he had to turn in his gun. :D

I'd be pretty happy if that happened to me, since I don't have HBO

Definitely on the low end. The syndicated reruns shown here locally the week before consisted entirely of previous Treehouse of Horror episodes. Each and every one was superior to #13.
