I was majorly thrown off with Gwen leaving!

So Helene or Brooke? and why.

We were BLOWN AWAY! I thought Gwen was his number one choice all along!

I think it's Helene.

I was surprised at first but now I think he has fallen in love with Helene. I think he really liked Gwen and figured it was easier to dump her as #3 instead of from the final 2.

I just can't see him going for Brooke, she's just too young and I think in the end it is an issue for him.

My wife and I were totally blown away.

If it is Helene, then he is thinking he doesn't want to hurt Brooke more by dumping her at #3. It would be easier to "justify" the dumping at the end.

But part of me is not sure that he is more turned off by Helene's forward personality than drawn to it. For a guy so in control of his life, I would think he would be more comfortable with a more reserved personality like Brooke.

If you watched last night very carefully, there were a couple of camera shots where you saw a real look of "love" in Brooke's eyes. Does he see that? If so, does he see it as desperation, though?

I thought Sylvia.....er......Gwen was #1 from the very beginning. But, now, I am rooting for Brooke. I just think he would be more comfortable with her in the long run. But, the age thing may be a problem for him.

We'll see. Too bad we have to wait two weeks for the end. It will be fun to see the reunion show next week.

I vote for Brooke!!!!

And, seeing that this is an ABC show, does anyone else think Chris would be a decent replacement as host of The Mole? He would even be better than Ahmad for the celebrity version.

Gwen is a friend of mine and I was shocked! She never revealed it to any of us since she got back home awhile ago though. I think it was cause she was married before, knew it was a mistake but still went through with it. He didn't like it. She's also 3 years OLDER than the Bachelor. Helene never shuts up! What a pain. Brooke is the best. the Alabama student! Roll Tide!!

Anyways, I would really like to see Brooke win at this point. Just think....how fun would it be to have the 'Bama room that Brooke's dad has. That was so cool. A little over the top, but very cool!

The more I think about it, it will be Brooke. She is a real cutie.

The BIG question is if my wife can get me to watch The Bachelorette with her.....Depends....if it's a real cute woman...maybe, and I would like to see how she reacts, but I just don't know. I think I have to put my foot down on that one.....

I think it is going to be Helene in the end. She is constantly challenging the bachelor. When he asks how she feels about him, she always answers and then asks him the same questions right back. She doesn't accept generic answers and constantly puts him on the spot for more information. It's sometimes as if SHE is the one having to decide if SHE wants him or not. She seems much more at ease with him also.

When Brooke is with him, you can see the fear in her eyes. She might be in love with him, but you can definitely see that she's afraid of being heart-broken than Helene. When he asked the three how they would react to NOT being chosen last night, he didn't even get a chance to ask her because she was already almost in tears. Having to anser that would have broken her IMO.

IMO, Helene is more at ease with him and playing the gane to get him better than Brooke. Also don't forget that he gave Helene his cell number a few weeks ago that caused such a ruckus among the other women. He's got eyes for Helene, but I think is taking the time with Brooke to make sure Helene's the one.

My wife and I both are rooting for Helene. Who wants to marry someone who agrees with everything you say and doesn't challenge you in the least? Gwen was our second choice.

On last week's ep, did anybody else think Aaron's meeting with Angela's parents and roommate was totally weird??

I also would be afraid to pick Brooke in the end because of possible issues of child abuse if Brooke's father ever came back into the picture...

I thought Gwen was a lock. She seemed like the total merging of the other two. Now it's just like the last bachelor. He had a choice between the challenge and the young blonde who's totally gaga for him. But this bachelor is much more real than the last one. He's not throwing them all a line saying that they are the one. He's not making any promises. He's not doing anything wrong. I'm actually feeling bad for the guy to have to let these girls go.
