Image Backup Problem

I have searched the forums looking for a solution to an error message I am getting while using MFS Tools 2.0 (Floppy) to make a backup image of my existing Quantum Fireball LCT15 30GB drive to my Windows C: drive. Per instructions all drives are recognized with correct sizes but I get the following error message after the image backup process is about 55% complete. "Unable to handle kernel null pointer pereference at virtual address......Segmentation Fault. However the backup appears to continue as I get a message that says backup complete. The uncompressed size is 816MB and there does appear to be a tivo.bak file in my C: root directory;according to the properties the compressed size of the file is 159MB. I went ahead and tried to restore MFS Tools backup image to my new larger Maxtor 120GB drive but after typing in mfsrestore -s 127 -zpi /mnt/dos/tivo.bak /dev/hdb I got a message that says no such file or directory. I have made sure that my C: drive is connected to Primary master, the new larger Tivo drive to be is connected as Primary slave and the original Tivo drive is connected as Secondary master. I saw several references to the segmentation fault error but I don't think they fit my situation. Thanks in advance for any suggestions in resolving this problem.

'No such file or directory' suggests you didn't mount the C: drive correctly.

Robert,
Thanks for the quick reply. As you suspected I hadn't mounted the C: drive correctly. Repeated commands for restoring MFS Tools Backup Image (step 8) and the process began however at about 50% complete I got the segmentation fault error message similiar to the one received during the image backup of the existing Tivo drive (step 7). However unlike step 7 I waited and waited and never did see the upgrade image to the new Maxtor 120GB process continue to 100% complete. It appeared to just stop at 50% with the kernel null pointer pereference at virtual address......Segmentation Fault message. Am I to assume that, even though I received the Segmentation Fault message during image backup and I did see where it reached 100% complete, the tivo.bak file is okay? If it is okay why did it appear that the restore MFS Tools Backup Image to the new Maxtor 120GB drive not complete. Out of curiosity I installed the new drive to Tivo and I am getting the boot loop GSOD. I seem to remember reading some post that says something about in order to use a Maxtor as a Tivo A drive you need to have runideturbo= False in the boot sector. Is this relevant to my problems with the MFS Tools Backup Image process? Any additional advice? Thanks.

Stop the presses. Persevered and went through all Backup and Restoring MFS Tools backup image steps again and voila. Upgraded Maxtor 120GB drive = 144 hrs-54 min basic quality and by the way the Maxtor drive is much quieter than the Quantum. Thanks to all.
