I'm seeing generic guide data on most if not all of the broadcasts of the ISU Grand Prix events this season. That is, each event will be labelled ('Skate Canada" etc.) but the guide data will have the same description for each part of the competition. This may lead to missed recordings because TiVo may think it already has recorded a segment.

I have SPs for all of the channels involved, plus an ARWL to catch what the SPs miss. Some of the segments are not getting selected for recording, so I've gone in and set them to record by hand.

Since the TiVo doesn't know what's coming when, it's useful to cross-check schedules on the net:

Figure Skating schedules:

Note that the "Bofrost Cup" is the Nations Cup with a new sponsor (so that we have Skate America and Skate Canada vs. Trophee Lalique and Bofrost Cup and NHK Trophy). Good thing Skate America doesn't change its name with the change in sponsors, or this year we'd have had the Smart Ones Trophy. :rolleyes:

Sponsors are great and you can't have events without them, but the tail shouldn't wag the dog.
