Hi, all.

I just bought an older Tivo (Philips DR212) and it arrived yesterday. It came with an upgraded 80gig drive and I had another 80gig drive waiting for it when it arrived. I followed Hinsdale's How-To instructions and made a back-up of the old drive, then added the new drive. What fun!

The only problem I had was the jumper on the Western Digital drive had to be moved from "cable select", which was original, to "master dual". I now have 193 hours basic and all is well.

I'd like to thank all who have contributed to these upgrade instructions and software. It was really appreciated.

Now to learn all the "tricks" of operating a Tivo! So far, I love it!
